An Garda Síochána have confirmed that this morning’s Dundalk security alert is now over.
Staff have been allowed to return to the Courthouse which is now open to the public.
Both Circuit and District Court sittings have resumed.
The jury have been discharged and requested to attend Dundalk Courthouse at 10.00am tomorrow morning Wednesday 15 January, 2025.

Dundalk Courthouse and the surrounding buildings have been evacuated and traffic has been diverted due to a security alert this morning. Gardai have taken charge of the situation.
By direction of Judge Hayes, the jury for today have been discharged and are requested to return for 10.00 tomorrow morning.
